Universal Health Care

Some people are naïve. I have been seeing in the news and reading in the paper that the Republicans are using the same scare tactics to stop Universal Health Care. Also, the AMA (American Medical Association), who promotes the art and science of medicine and the “betterment of public health” are against Universal Health Care as well.

This is fishy to me; the people who promote the “betterment of public health” are against the Universal Health Care plan. This tells me that the Republicans, the AMA, HMOs and all the other health care organizations don’t want this plan because it will cut into their bottom line. Greed is powerful…

Money before people seems to be the motto for the extreme right and these health care organizations. So who is looking out for us? Right now it is the Obama’s Administration taking steps to get the 45,000,000 uninsured/underinsured people, insured or a better plan for them.

But everyone who is supposed to help us is helping themselves by raping and nickel and dime us to death. They say that we are the number one Country in the world, if that is the case, then why are we number thirty seven in the world when it comes to health care. Greed is powerful…

I have friends that live in France and Great Britain and they have Universal Health care and private insurance and I have never heard them complaining about it and by the way, they have a choice in choosing their doctor. If anything, they tell me that the U.S is crazy for not having Universal Health care.

The far right also says that if you get Universal Health care, you will not have a choice in choosing you Doctor. But the way I see it, if you don’t have any health insurance, what choice do you have in choosing a Doctor anyway?

I have a question for all politicians that are against the Universal Health care plan; What health care plan are you on? Greed is powerful…
